Today brings news from one of our favourite beauty brands, Crème de la Mer. The luxury skincare brand have partnered up with the BLUE Marine Foundation to host a private soirée in celebration of 'Join Blue' which is the latest initiative to raise awareness for the work BLUE does to fix the largest solvable environmental problem on the planet - the crisis in the oceans.
With the sea being the inspiration behind Crème de la Mer and at the core of all products, the brand's mission is to support the protection of ocean habitats for generations to come through their ongoing philanthropic partnership with BLUE.
The BLUE Marine Foundation was founded in the UK back in 2010 and with ambassadors like Poppy Delevingne and Yasmin LeBon, it has been swimming to the top of our list of charities we support. For such a small charity they have made a huge impact and have already secured more than $12 million for marine conservation work and have protected an area more than twice the size of the UK, that's pretty amazing , right?
To show ongoing support for the BLUE Marine Foundation, Crème de la Mer released a stunning Limited Edition World Oceans Day Moisturising Cream. Blue Heart has the power to transform and make skin look virtually ageless. The launch of this limited edition product shows La Mer's commitment to the Blue Heart program under which it has donated $2.6 million to ocean conservation efforts globally since 2008.
The private dinner was held at London's Arts Club on Tuesday evening and was attended by the Crème de la Crème of the city. Guests sipped on La Mer Lime-Tea Tonic cocktails and enjoyed a divine three course meal.
Attendees included George Duffield who is the co-founder of the BLUE Marine Foundation and Kerry Evans was also there to represent Crème de la Mer. Model and socialite Chelsea Leyland attended and mingled with fellow celebrities Gala Gordon, Jade Parfitt and Samantha Barks.
Irish TV presenter, broadcaster and stylist Angela Scanlon looked ravishing in an understated LBD.

We're looking forward to the future to see the BLUE Marine Foundation protect 10% of the world's oceans. They plan to do this by 2020 and with such an amazing collection of supporters, we believe they will reach their goal. Dive in now and become part of something to protect YOUR ocean and YOUR world.
